Quick Facts

IMPORTANT CONTEXT: This Is NOT a Second-Entry Program

Unlike most accelerated/fast-track BScN programs (e.g., U of T, York, Western), Seneca’s “Fast Track” is not a second-entry program for applicants who already hold a prior degree. It is the same 4-year BScN curriculum compressed into 3 years by eliminating summer breaks. Admission is based on high school (Grade 12) courses, not university-level prerequisites. There is no requirement for a prior degree or university coursework.

This is a critical distinction. The program is essentially the standard Seneca BScN (BSN) delivered on an accelerated schedule.

How Applications Are Evaluated

No detailed evaluation criteria or weighting system was published. The program states that it is “highly competitive” and applicants are ranked based on academic strength, with “only the top ranked applicants” offered seats. No supplementary assessments (interview, CASPer, personal statement) are used – admission appears to be entirely grades-based.
